Robert P. Cotthaus , DVM
Dr. Robert Cotthaus is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. A Long Island native, Rob came to veterinary medicine as a second career. Following graduation from SUNY Stony Brook, he lived and worked in Boston and Brooklyn, NY for a number of years. Rob has a professional interest in the responsible and compassionate care in the use of laboratory animals in research and consults within the Biotechnology Industry. When not working, he can be found with his wife, four children and his 2 dogs, Benny and Stella, on the beach in the summer and the ski mountain in the winter.
Barry H. Marsh , DVM
Dr. Barry Marsh is a West Hartford native and a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Barry has been with Glastonbury Animal Hospital since 1997, first part-time, then full-time since 2006. Aside from his vast veterinary knowledge and experience, he possesses a "Green Thumb". He is adept at rescuing and coaxing ailing plants back to life. He also spends time with his wife and their pets, a dog Jack and a cat named Missy.
Ellyn S. Kirk , VMD
Dr. Ellyn Kirk is a Connecticut native and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Villanova University, Ellyn lived and worked in the Washington DC area. After she received her veterinary degree, she returned home to Connecticut, with her husband and their 2 children. They have 2 pets, a lab named Toby and their cat, Jax.
Griffin B. O'Connor, DVM
Griffin O'Connor, DVM is a Suffield, CT native. She graduated from Ross University in 2007 after completing her clinical training at Virginia-Maryland regional college of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Suffield Veterinary Hospital in 2007. Dr. O'Connor enjoyed her time at Suffield Vet but the commute from Glastonbury became too difficult. She is excited to join Glastonbury Animal Hospital and serve her home community. She shares her home with her husband Jason (also a veterinarian), her two small children, a cat Sushi and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks: Bodhi and Sparkle. In her time off she can be found hiking with her dogs or spending time on the water.
