Dr. Robert Cotthaus is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. A Long Island native, Rob came to veterinary medicine as a second career. Following graduation from SUNY Stony Brook, he lived and worked in Boston and Brooklyn, NY for a number of years. Rob has a professional interest in the responsible and compassionate care in the use of laboratory animals in research and consults within the Biotechnology Industry. When not working, he can be found with his wife, four children and his 2 dogs, Benny and Stella, on the beach in the summer and the ski mountain in the winter.
Dr. Barry Marsh is a West Hartford native and a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Barry has been with Glastonbury Animal Hospital since 1997, first part-time, then full-time since 2006. Aside from his vast veterinary knowledge and experience, he possesses a "Green Thumb". He is adept at rescuing and coaxing ailing plants back to life. He also spends time with his wife and their pets, a dog Jack and a cat named Missy.
Dr. Linda Nachtigal is an Ohio native and long-time resident of Connecticut. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Linda has worked in every aspect of the veterinary field and has worked as a veterinarian at Glastonbury Animal Hospital since 2008. When Linda is not caring for her small animal patients, she has been known to fraternize with alpacas on her days off. She also spends time caring for her own pets, her dog Mack, two cats Ash and Smokey, and her guinea pig, Bridget.
Dr. Ellyn Kirk is a Connecticut native and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Villanova University, Ellyn lived and worked in the Washington DC area. After she received her veterinary degree, she returned home to Connecticut, with her husband and their 2 children. They have 2 pets, a lab named Toby and their cat, Jax.
